The Wording of the Five Fundamental Principles of Prout

Dear reader,

For some time now attempts have been made to change Shrii Prabhat Rainjan Sarkar’s original wording of the fundamental principles of the Progressive Utilization Theory (PROUT).

The philosophical and ideological differences between the original wording and the misguided attempt are vast for many reasons — historical, literary, philosophical, and ideological among them. Essentially, the erroneous effort changes the theory from being spiritually-oriented to something else.

An explanatory paper on the veracity of the propounder of Prout’s original wording has been put forth to clear any misconception that may have resulted from the said erroneous effort. The paper is rich in historical, literary and philosophical information. Apart from settling matters, we hope the read will prove educative and inspiring.

An accompanying article on Prout’s view on the need to keep mental and spiritual wealth free for all, and on the value of a constructive approach to synthesis, was published simultaneously.
